WELCOME BACK TO TERM 4

PROUD MOTHERS Farideh, Shazia and Lata
Hello everybody and welcome back to term 4.

I hope you all had a nice break. We only have seven weeks in this term so it will be Christmas before we know it.

A few of our students have been very busy with new babies. We have had five baby girls born to parents in our English classes over the past few months.
Above is a picture of baby Maria, Noor and Happy with their proud mums Farideh, Shazia and Lata. Congratulations everyone and Go Girl Power!
Don't forget to practice writing your comments on the blog.
I look forward to reading what you think.
Until next time
Bye

What's been happening?

Cam Wilson talks to the class about how to vote.

MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT!

G'day Bloggers
I found some more information on the Australian Citizen Test. You can order the information booklet on line at the below link.

However I wouldn't panic yet. Who knows what will happen after the election.

Speaking of the election, we were lucky enough to have Cam Wilson from the Australian Electoral Commission come and talk to us about the future election and what we have to do to vote as well as how to vote. It was very interesting and lots of us had plenty of questions.
Holidays are coming up. Our last class is this Thursday the 27th. Class will start again on the 15th of October.
Have a great break everyone

WHO AM I?

We had a 'Who am I?' quiz in class where students had to guess the object/person/animal being described. Afterwards students had to write their own 'Who am I?' describing themselves. I collected them all up and read the clues out to the class to see if they could guess who I was describing. It was fun

See if you can guess whose 'Who am I' is written below.

Who am I?
I'm a woman
I was born in Jaghori, Afghanistan
I'm 40 years old
I have black hair and brown eyes
I'm studying English at TAFE
Who am I?

Who am I?
I am a man
I was born in the southern part of
India I have black hair and black eyes
I have dark skin
I am learning English
Who am I?
